This role is responsible for the development, oversight, analysis, implementation and on-going management of specialty education programs within HealthTrust.  Additionally, for identifying opportunities for training programs to improve quality of clinical services for HealthTrust and external clients. Manages and supports StaRN Program Professional and Logistic Coordinator for assigned Territories.

  • Directs and oversees regional clinical professional development program projects;
  • Work’s with HealthTrust’s existing sales organization and Acts as HealthTrust’s Educational subject matter expert in assigned geographic territory;
  • Assist and leads identification and development of engagement opportunities with external clients;
  • Builds and fosters relationships with key clients and understand client’s educational needs and objectives;
  • Provides customer support to HealthTrust clients in assigned geographic territory and is HealthTrust’s initial account contact for problem resolution;
  • Develops long and short range strategies, plans and programs to meet customer’s educational needs;
  • Establishes and manages measurement systems for capturing, analyzing, and reporting quality measures and educational program successes;
  • Collaborates with a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of planning, implementing and maintaining services and/or programs;
  • Manages multiple client engagements and ensures expectations are reasonable and clearly defined in the scope of work and financial models;
  • Manages client engagements within the agreed upon scope, time and budget;
  • Manages and provides support to Program Professional and Program Logistic Coordinator for assigned territory.
  • Manages team members timekeeping and weekly payroll including payroll corrections
  • Oversees schedules for specialty with coordination of conference calls, meeting, and coordinated travel arrangements as requested
  • Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required; with major course work in Business, Nursing or Education preferred
  • Registered Nurse with Education background at a hospital level preferred
  • Three years of experience in planning and implementing business projects and/or staff development activities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.


CERTIFICATE/LICENSE – Registered Nurse Preferred



  • Exert up to 20 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently and/or 10 lbs constantly.
  • Requires prolonged sitting some walking, standing, repetitive tasks/ motions and stretching.
  • Requires clarity of vision, eye-hand-foot coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Requires the perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
  • Requires normal eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
  • Requires; dexterity to type
