WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Plan, organize, manage, and track training and educational programs for HealthTrust Workforce Solutions
  • Design training implementation plan for infrastructure, network, and travel staff nationwide.  Identify training needs for all non-clinical and clinical employees and opportunities for improvement
  • Primary responsibility includes eMar Scan report and remediation assignment, tracking, and reporting
  • Act as corporate expert on all learning-related technologies such as Healthstream Learning Management System (LMS) and WebEX (including virtual meeting and virtual training tools)
  • Maintain knowledge, understanding, and database of HCA and non-HCA facility offerings including required credentials such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Maintain corporate education training center and training libraries. Work with HR representatives, Education Liaison, Training Developer, and subject matter experts to stay abreast of changes to products, processes, or technology
  • As a highly visible department representative, this person consistently demonstrates a strong service commitment by continually striving to meet and exceed customer expectation
  • EMar Scan reports for all active nurses on a monthly basis
  • Development of best practice remediation program for employees
  • Reporting / communication with hiring manager / remediation process
  • Assist with coordinating and troubleshoots for virtual training and WBT
  • Assist/Ensures new employees on boarding process and assist hiring manager with necessary action regarding employee set up

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Serves as core member for assigned Meditech module systems training projects (Allied Health)
  • Hours vary according to training schedule and needs
  • Self directed and motivated
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates superior ability to perform in a consulting setting and to interact effectively with Facility Administration, Division/Group Administration, and Facility personnel
  • Expert knowledge of microcomputer systems and common software packages available to support database and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must have clear speaking voice and good hearing, as position requires the use of a headset/microphone to deliver virtual classes
  • Communicates (written/verbal) with business owners, vendors and all level of company employees. Must have excellent communication skills
  • Data entry into various education databases including StaffPm, Healthstream, StaffRx, Travel etc.
  • Acts as a Healthstream Product owner for HealthTrust Workforce Management Solution
  • Responsible for administrative direction in compliance with The Joint Commission standards
  • Understands training requirements for non clinical and clinical staff and helps connect available resources
  • Answers inquires or refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals or training centers
  • Compiles reports from data and existing records
  • Gathers information and develops summaries as requested
  • Assist other staff as requested
  • Attend meeting as assigned and reports on actions
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Serves on HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Disaster team and participates in all activities related to readiness, planning, and implementation

  • Stress Tolerance – maintains stable performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity); handles stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization
  • Travel 10-20% may be required

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three years education experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Relevant education may substitute experience requirement
  • Meditech Experience Required
  • Healthstream administrator experience preferred
  • Clinical Experience in non-nursing specialty preferred
