Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – The AVP of Marketing will have responsibility for all marketing activities for Healthtrust Workforce Solutions (HWS) in coordination with Healthtrust Corporate marketing. Position will manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities on behalf of HWS with particular support given to recruitment and sales.   The AVP will have an understanding of the company’s array of products and services and collaborate with the Healthtrust individual business units on marketing efforts (to drive consistency and efficiencies of scale). Position will be highly knowledgeable of digital marketing and social media with proven results. AVP will support market research to determine requirements for existing and future products; will analyze customer research to determine drivers of choice; will advise senior leadership regarding current market conditions; and will serve as the source for competitive intelligence to guide HWS toward successful go-to-market strategies. AVP will develop and implement a strategic and integrated marketing plan (in cooperation with all other marketing and communications stakeholders within the organization) to increase awareness and understanding of the HWS and Healthtrust brands and their suite of shared service solutions.  The AVP will also manage all projects, programs and promotions on a tactical level to ensure productivity and effectiveness.  The AVP of Marketing will monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results (progress to plan) to demonstrate ROI and will also develop and manage the marketing budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Assist with the positioning of the HWS Brand
  • Ensure that the HWS Brand aligns with the overall Healthtrust Brand Creative Platform from which all advertising, communications and visual manifestations of the HWS Brand are realized
  • Develop and manage all advertising creative and media planning specific to HWS including digital
  • Develop and manage all HWS promotional programs
  • Identify and manage all HWS sponsorships
  • Conduct research to identify intelligence to aid in the marketing and sales of the HWS products and services in traditional and digital arenas
  • Serve as the key HWS Brand counselor for the HWS portion of the Healthtrust web site (and all intranet sites) to ensure that the brand messaging, look/feel and tonality comes across appropriately
  • Oversee the HWS Brand presentation in all internal newsletters and communiqués

 

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES – This position requires the following minimal requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field (Masters’ Degree preferred)
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining integrated marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing skills
  • Proven experience in both customer and market research
  • Deep experience in the development and execution of digital marketing programs utilizing CRM platforms
  • Deep knowledge of technology solutions within the marketing space
  • Healthcare Industry experience a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  • Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Requires prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
  • Requires dexterity to type 60 wpm.
  • Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
